Continuing its commitment to supporting the transition of businesses towards a circular economy, Circul'R is launching the "Circular Economy Leader" training programme for professionals, in partnership with ESCP.
The accelerating destabilisation of our ecosystems is placing businesses in a radically new context.
At a time when governments and scientists are calling for restraint in the use of resources, how can businesses combine environmental responsibility with productivity? The circular economy offers a prime opportunity to do just that.
To anticipate the skills their teams will need - an essential step in raising a company's performance and competitiveness - ESCP Business School and Circul'R have chosen to pool their expertise to create the "Circular Economy Leader" programme. This continuing education programme is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
The training is aimed at executives, managers and professionals who want to drive the circular transformation and have a lasting impact on their companies and organisations.
This short, 3-month programme combines in-person and digital learning across five half-days and covers 4 pillars:

- The circular economy as a solution to major planetary challenges
- Governance of circular economy partnerships
- Change management
According to Valentina Carbone and Aurélien Acquier, professors at ESCP and the programme's academic co-directors: "The circular economy is a managerial as well as a cultural shift that transforms our relationship with value creation, progress and the way we consume. Thanks to this partnership with Circul'R, the programme trains responsible leaders to build green value into their approach while safeguarding the productivity of organisations and businesses".
According to Clément Pecastaings, Head of Training at Circul'R: "To put in place a business model that respects planetary boundaries, it is essential that organisations build their skills on these subjects so they can reinvent themselves and find new, virtuous drivers of growth. That is what we set out to do through this programme."
